SUMMARY

In the summer of 2020, the Consulate General of France in Louisiana, Cultural Services of the French Embassy and Newcomb Art Museum invited street artists Brandan “Bmike” Odums and MTO to join in discussion with Elizabeth LeFrere, manager of Studio BE, and Thomas Friel, Coordinator for Interpretation & Public Engagement at Newcomb Art Museum. During the talk, participants shared experiences and observations about the growing and rapidly changing world of street art on both sides of the Atlantic.
