SUMMARY

At the Embassy’s annual gathering to honor the Congressional French Caucus, the Ambassador of France - joined by Eric Fanning, CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) - welcomed members of Congress, the American delegation of business leaders and Administration officials who are preparing to fly to France for the Paris Air Show. On this occasion we celebrated the 80^th anniversary of the publication of The Little Prince, penned by the legendary author and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The National Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Artistic Director Julien Bénichou, performed the U.S. premiere of Thierry Huillet’s “Le Petit Prince for Narrator and String Orchestra,” with the kind participation of SpaceX Astronaut Dr. Sian Proctor.
