SUMMARY

At the occasion of the Embassy’s yearly gathering to honor the Congressional French Caucus, the Ambassador of France joined by Eric Fanning, CEO of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) in welcoming Members of Congress, the American delegation of business leaders and Administration officials who are preparing to fly to France for the Paris Air Show. We celebrated the 80^th anniversary of the publication of The Little Prince, penned by the legendary author and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The National Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Julien Bénichou (Artistic Director and Conductor, National Chamber Orchestra) and with the kind participation of SpaceX Astronaut Dr. Sian Proctor performed the U.S. Premiere of Thierry Huillet’s “Le Petit Prince for Narrator and String Orchestra.” The Embassy of France is very thankful to the sponsoring companies: AIA, ATR, Air France, Airbus, Boeing, GIFAS, Fedex, ESA, AFP, THALES.
