SUMMARY

The Consul General of France in Miami, Raphaël Trapp, wishes you a very happy new year 2024 which will be important in many respects.

First, on the political level, because of the American presidential elections and the European elections which will be held on June 8.

Then, on June 6, 2024, the 80^th anniversary of the Normandy landings will be celebrated by welcoming to France American veterans who can make the trip.

Also, 2024 will be a fundamental year for France which will be at the center of the sporting world, the time of the Summer Olympics and Paralympics.

Finally, the consulate will continue its work to promote and vibrate French culture with our partners. Many French and French-speaking artists will pass through Florida as part of the Villa Albertine. In particular, next February 24 for the Night of Ideas that the Villa Albertine is organizing around the theme of the resilient city.
