SUMMARY
A group of WWII veterans arrived in France thanks to a direct Delta flight that took them from Atlanta to Normandy. They're in the hexagon for the Battlefield Return to Normandy hosted by Best Defense Foundation, which takes former soldiers to the beaches where allied troops turned the tides of war.
The veterans are accompanied by a team member of France Atlanta and were greeted by the US Ambassador to France, Denise Bauer. A 🇫🇷🇺🇸 celebration of a cherished generation.
