French Ambassador to the United States Philippe Etienne gave an interview on MSNBC (Ayman Moyheldin) in which he emphasized the military commitment of NATO countries to help Ukraine and of France and the EU in the long term to help Ukraine on several levels: military, economic, humanitarian, but also judicial. He defended the diplomacy of President Macron to V. Putin, judging the criticism of the Polish Prime Minister "unjustified" and "not very useful", at a time when France is making efforts to unify the EU. Asked about France's efforts to push other countries to sanction oil and gas, he recalled that France was in favor of sanctions but that it was necessary to take into account the countries that had more difficulties in this area.
