National Order of Merit ceremony recognizes the contributions of Elisabeth Marchal

SUMMARY

Created by President Charles de Gaulle in 1963, the National Order of Merit is the second national order in France and rewards distinguished service. On August 18, 2022, at the French Residence in Atlanta, Ms. Elisabeth Marchal, a figure very much involved in Atlanta’s French community, was decorated with the insignia of Knight in the National Order of Merit.
