SUMMARY
On Saturday, May 14, 2022, the Night of Ideas took place at the Woodruff Arts Center (1280 Peachtree Street NE Atlanta, GA 30309). This unique evening proposed six hours of programming: debates, meetings, music, art installations, film screenings, etc. The event provided an opportunity to discover how local visionaries, artists, entrepreneurs, leaders and other experts are navigating the current health, economic and social context in order to answer the question: "Where Do We Go from Here?". The special guests included Atlanta Mayor André Dickens; Diane Landais and Miryam Houali, members of the French video game collective Accidental Queens; Villa Albertine Director Gaëtan Bruel; and more ! This event was presented by Villa Albertine in cooperation with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, Fulton County Arts & Culture, Science Gallery Atlanta, Atlanta Influences Everything and the Woodruff Arts Center. Coordinated by the French Institute - Paris, the Night of ideas brings together intellectuals, representatives of civil society, creators and public officials to take part in debates centered on the key issues of our time. Events are scheduled in 19 U.S. cities this May.
