SUMMARY

On November 11, 2022, a ceremony was held at the Embassy of France on the occasion of the national day of commemoration of Victory and Peace, organized by the Mission de Défense and presided over by Ambassador Philippe Etienne.
The Ambassador read a message from the Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu and the Secretary of State for Veterans and Remembrance Patricia Mirallès, before paying tribute with all the guests present to the memory of the soldiers who died for France.
General Bertrand Jardin, Defense Attaché, then proceeded to a presentation of decorations and delivered a speech in honor of the recipients.
