Was Alexey Meshkov, Russia’s ambassador to France, summoned to the Quai d’Orsay in direct response to the summoning of Pierre Lévy, France’s ambassador to Russia, to the Russian Foreign Ministry?
France’s ambassador to Russia will be summoned to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on February 5. On that occasion, France will reaffirm its strong condemnation of Russian air strikes in Ukraine, which killed two French citizens working for a humanitarian NGO and wounded three other French nationals. We will also denounce the upsurge in disinformation targeting France.
