Unique among diplomatic missions in Washington, DC, “La Maison Française” at the Embassy of France offers a truly exceptional environment fostering rich bilateral relations between the US and France with a very wide program of musical and cultural events, as well as educational and professional exchanges. The facility is designed to accommodate a wide variety of activities, conferences to films, art exhibitions, receptions, and dinners. It’s the perfect place to highlight French and American exchange and cooperation as well as a great host venue for non-profit and worthy causes.

Its 11,250 square feet space, includes a sky-lighted lobby, a 285-seat auditorium, an exhibition gallery, an indoor patio, a bar area, a large ballroom and a landscaped terrace. This area can accommodate receptions for up to 1,500 guests, and sit-down dinners for 450. It also offers meeting rooms, ideally suited to seminars and business conferences.

Within the limits of our busy calendar, we welcome outside organizations wishing to use our spaces.
