Experience an evening of enchanting music by two towering figures of Russian composition at La Maison Française, featuring celebrated artists such as soprano Natalie Conte, baritone Anton Belov, and pianist Martin Labazevitch. The RCAS presents Great Masters: Nikolai Medtner & Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, showcasing a captivating selection of their works.

Nikolai Medtner, a close contemporary of Sergei Rachmaninov, is celebrated for his late-Romantic style. The program will feature some of his exquisite Romances (Art Songs) and his renowned “Fairy Tales” for solo piano, offering a glimpse into his rich, emotive musical world.

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, a key member of “The Mighty Five,” is renowned for his orchestral brilliance and evocative musical imagery. His romances and duets, known for their vivid color and expressive depth, will also be highlighted in this program.
