SUMMARY
Consul general François Penguilly was delighted to go to the magnificent performance of Leonard Bernstein's symphony "Kaddish" played by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and conducted by James Colon, Music Director of LA Opera, in the presence of Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The concert took place on October 9, 2022 at the Music Center at Strathmore, MD, and was organized by the Projet Aladin, a UNESCO-sponsored international organization. It was followed by a very moving narration by Judith and Leah Pisar of Samuel Pisar's libretto.
