SUMMARY

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy organized the third national seminar on French Dual Language Immersion in the United States from October 23-25, 2023. The event took place at the Embassy of France in the United States as well as at the Residence of France in Washington DC. The event brought together about 80 state and district leaders, school principals and educators of 19 states in order to reflect on key issues surrounding French dual language and immersion education in the United States. The Embassy of France supports the 182 public schools who offer a French dual language immersion program across the country, representing over 33,000 students in 30 states.
